Read more...We’ve got three boats heading down to the 2014 JJ Giltninan World’s 18ft Skiff Championships in Sydney (28 February to 9 March).
Good winds to Winning Appliances (Shane Smith), PB Towage (Josh Franklin) and Ullmans Sails Brisbane – Brisbane 18 Footers (Laurie Williamson). I noted some pics on Facebook before Christmas of the PB lads training with Olympic coach Adrian Finglas, and there’s been a concerted effort for the lads to get together and duke it out since the New Year return (last week’s rig buster excepted!).
The League will have the races “live” online with trackers in each boat, and publish results and photos here. You can also follow them at 18 Footers TV.com, Facebook and all good sailing news websites such as My Sailing and Sail World. We’ll share any news on our own Twitter, Facebook and G+ feeds.
