COVID-19 Update March 26


The Club would like to draw attention to the current tracing advice current 26 March 2021 – https://www.qld.gov.au/health/conditions/health-alerts/coronavirus-covid-19/current-status/contact-tracing

Queensland Health has updated its contact tracing advice for Westfield Carindale Shopping Centre, Carindale and Mamma’s Italian Restaurant at Redcliffe:

  • Anyone who was in any part of Westfield Carindale Shopping Centre between 12pm and 2.16pm on Saturday, 20 March 2021 should immediately get tested and isolate until they receive their result.
  • Anyone who visited Mamma’s Italian Restaurant at Redcliffe on 21 March between 12.40pm to 3.10pm will be required to quarantine for 14 days. Public health units will directly contact those people who dined at the restaurant during that time.
  • Anyone who visited Guzman y Gomez Stafford (drive through), 400 Stafford Road, Stafford on 22 March between 12:20pm to 12:25pm – should immediately get tested and isolate until they receive their result.

Any individuals who have been in the below locations during the relevant times are required to quarantine for 14 days. Public health units will directly contact those people who dined at the restaurant during that time.

Historial 10ft Skiff racing at Bulimba is still currently planned, though will obviously be subject to any revised directions from Queensland Health. As always, our racing is conducted under the Brisbane Sailing Squadron COVID Safe plan.

Please do not to attend 10 Footer events if you:
a) are unwell – have been in close contact with a known active case of COVID-19
b) have COVID-19 symptoms
c) have travelled overseas in the previous 14 days
