David “Casper” Hansa Memorial Race
Racing this weekend in the 18ft skiff fleet is dedicated to Casper, with the first heat of the Queensland Championship named in his memory.
Members of Dave’s family will be down from the Sunshine Coast, and we extend our thanks in advance for making the journey.
The 12ft skiffs are also racing the first two heats of their Queensland Championships. We should also be seeing the kite-boarders again this week after the fun of Super Skiff Day last Saturday, stay tuned.
Weather conditions are set to be big rig territory once again, with no more than 10kts forecast by both WillyWeather and SeaBreeze, but there’s a big disparity between the two as I write this post, so let’s look again tomorrow for more certainty.
On a more social note, it’s that time of the month again for Last Friday Club, please contact Christine for catering purposes as she’s shopping tomorrow morning!
