Spring has sprung – oh yeah!
Yep, it’s that time when spiders get flushed from masts, booms and spinnaker bags, leaves and other assorted crap is removed from the boat, and skippers and crews alike scratch their heads and try to remember what goes where. IT’S SAILING SEASON!!
Looking forward this season, we’ll be linking in with the newly established greenandgoldsailing.com to help spread the love and those fantastic stories from Skinnyman et al in the 12s, and hopefully some more war stories from the 18ft skiff lads as well.
The Annual Presentation of Trophies night was held in late July, and a big congratulations to the two skiffs with the mostest, PB Towage in the 12’s and Q1 in the 18’s. Special mention also to Avro in the Historical 10’s picking up their Queensland Championship, runners-up in the Australian Championship overall and Handicap winners.
