2023 Queensland 18ft Skiff Championships – Day 1

Champagne sailing conditions on Waterloo Bay yesterday for the first two races of the Queensland Championships.


Race 1 was a real sprint race, with Bigfoot winning with a time of 36:22 from C-Tech in 37:08, Lumix 3rd in 41:50.

Race 2 was a little longer and it was C-Tech winning in 50:31 from Bigfoot in 51:41. Lumix was unfortunately DNF.

Similar forecast today with 10-15 kts forecast from the N / NNE and not a cloud in sight at the time of posting. Good winds!
