Read more...To help assist our own sailors and visitors to find all they need for an upcoming (or past) major event held by the Club, we have introduced a “Regattas” homepage.
https://brisbane18footers.com/regattas/
You can also find the information under the “Racing” section of the site menu… hover your mouse over the link and look for the “Regattas” entry. If you’ve never looked, under this part of the site menu, you can also find links to the season programmes, rescue boat roster, and results and news stories from the classes (if you click on a link, say “12ft Skiff News & Reports” you’ll see all of the posts in this category only).
The intention is for a regatta “homepage” to be created for each event containing some brief information, links to the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions, online entry forms (including online payment of entry fees where applicable), and also race results and reports, photo galleries and so on. After the event has finished, we’ll also retain the link to the regatta’s homepage so we can always find the details!
We’re also looking to making the race/regatta management a little easier for the Race Officers, but need help from anyone with experience in advanced databases or Excel – please contact Mark or Chris G via the “Contact” form.
